Every Caribou Creek log home starts with hand-peeled logs. Our craftsmen select the perfect log to best match the section of the home they are building. Each log is cut to length, and notches and reliefs are carefully laid out and cut to insure a perfect fit. The entire process requires an enormous amount of patience and skill, and requires great care to preserve the natural aesthetic and structural qualities of the wood.

Our custom homes include walls, floor joists, and a structural roof. The electrical chases are predrilled, electrical boxes pre-cut, and flats ground to allow standard electrical face-plates. We can create any blend of styles, construction methods, and finishing options that you can think of, such as a log shell that allows traditional dry-wall interior walls or a roof system using log trusses. If it can be engineered, we can build it for you.
